Port Feast/Pink Ribbon Walk

On October 23rd Evan and I help raise over $25,000 for the American Cancer Society by joining in the pink ribbion walk in beautiful Port Canaveral. We had a great view of the ships. After the walk we watched the bath tub races. It was a nice day for a great cause.

I enjoyed visiting the Brevard Zoo for their 2010 Boo at the Zoo on October 17th. This event allows safe trick or treating for children. The Brevard County Fire Fighters as well as other vendors were on hand. I also saw an old radio friend Eric Danaro who looks and acts much like Captian Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean.

I joined the Cape Canaveral Fire Department on October 9th for their 2010 Fall Festival. October is Fire Prevention Month and they were out raising awareness about fire safety and reminding everyone to check the batteries in their smoke detectors. Evan joined in. He loved the fire truck.

Blessing of the Animals Day at the Central Brevard Humane Society

Evan, and our beloved dog Manny attended the Blessing of the Animals Day at the Central Brevard Humane Society with me. The Central Brevard Humane Society celebrated St. Francis of Assisi Blessing of the Animals Day on Monday, October 4th,at the Shelter’s Rainbow Bridge Community Chapel. The public was invited to attend along with their pets for this “blessed” event. In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, Padre Tim provided blessings to shelter animals, individual pets and in memory of beloved pets that have passed away. Theresa the Humane Society's Event Coordinator also read off the newly bricked memory walk for some of the recently passed volenteers whom have decated decades for the animals. The new walk also includes beloved pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Light refreshments were served and the shelter stayed open for adoptions and donations.

September 19th Fall Adopt-a-thon

September 19th Evan and I attended the Fall Adopt-a-thon at the Central Brevard Humane Society. We were pleased to see so many people come to adopt wonderful animals. Evan is seen here with a family that adopted Lacy a dog up for adoption. The shelter also has a new low cost spay and neuter clinic. September 18th Paws at the Pier

September 18th Paws at the Pier Cocoa Beach, Florida. I was a guest judge along with other local celebrities to judge the pet contests. The 9th annual fund raiser is for the Central Brevard Humane Society. There were vendors and a silent auction. Also pictured are some of the pet costume contest winners. September 12th Florida International Pageant

Me and Tisha attended the Teen, Miss and Mrs Florida International Pageant. Karin Jenkins American Renaissence Royal Lifetime Queen and King David also came to support our friend and Pageant sister Janice Oulton Mrs. American Renaissance 2005. American Renaissance family is for life. Our friend Jessica Minch placed First Runner up in the Miss division. It was so close by one point which was announced on stage. Way to go Jessica! We also took time to visit with other queens.

Perfect Miss Pageant August 15th

Went to the America's Perfect Jr. Teen, Teen, and Miss Pageant on August 15th. Tisha and I went to cheer on our friend Jessica. Congrats to her for making top 15. We had a chance to take a picture with our long time friend Michael Galanas (America's Perfect National Director)

Miss Florida High School Pageant

On August 7th, I had the opportunity to judge the Miss Florida Jr./Sr. High School Pageant. I am happy to day that I had the opportunity to be filmed for an upcoming episode of MTV'S MADE! It will be coming out in September. I will keep you informed.

Had a great time at the Surfers for Autism event. Met some wonderful familys and had a chance to speak to the crowd about the pageant.

SPCA Thrift Store

July 18, 2010 Evan and I visited the SPCA thrift store of Brevard County. I made a donation and spoke with the volenteers. They are trying to raise the money for their new building. We will have more details later on how we can all help.
